Ashley was raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Her father's job moved the family to Conroe, Texas where Ashley attended high school. After high school, Ashley made the move to the great state of Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma.
Ashley received her undergraduate degree in Criminology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma. She studied Spanish at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate Degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in law school, Ashley received the CALI award for academic excellence in Legal Research and Writing and Applied Criminal Procedure.
During law school, Ashley worked with the personal injury firm of Homsey, Cooper, Hill & Carson where she later went on to become an associate. Ashley decided to become a solo practitioner and opened Manning Law Firm where she handles a wide variety of personal injury cases.
While not practicing law, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin. When not busy chasing around their two children, Ashley and her husband enjoy staying active together and training for events such as the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, Red Bud Classic, and the occasional local mud run.
Ashley is also a member of Edmond Women's Club which is a volunteer organization composed of women who have combined their talents to promote the cultural, civic, educational, and community efforts of the City of Edmond. Members volunteer their time to local organizations such as Edmond Mobile Meals, WINGS, Hopefully Yours, just to name a few.
